Lesley Ann Brandt, born on December 2, 1981 is an actor and model who has appeared in many television shows and films. Brandt, who began her acting in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom, made her American debut with the role of Naevia in the historical series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress's television credits are Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians, and numerous others. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa. Her move to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her late teens. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before her rise to fame as a model she worked in the field of retail sales as well as working as an expert in recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was cast as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She was a slave named Naevia. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena, she reprised the role of Naevia. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016 Mazikeen was cast as a bounty hunter in Netflix's smash hit Lucifer. The role is her most prominent to date. The show features her co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
