Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over three years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work to supplement her budget. Lennox felt that her skills were inferior to those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group did not appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was lead vocalist in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut record Diva. It was released in 1993. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is a Scottish philanthropist political activist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. They would go on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, with an album titled Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa a studio album that was released in 1995 features versions of some of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Six studio albums of her own, plus one compilation album are the result of her efforts.
